My Daemon is 39 days seizure free. This is the longest he has gone without a seizure since Christmas last year. I feel a little like an OSHA incident calendar, but I am counting every day since the last seizure. I know there will be breakthrough seizures. They are unavoidable. But we can stretch out the time between as far as possible and I am grateful for each day that he has without a seizure. As you can see, he is 100% velcro puppy. On to the books. I have finished, and had edited, Coyote Offerings. It is for sale everywhere, but doesn't release on the retailers until the 30th. If you buy it directly from me, you can get it now. There are only 3 chapters left for me to finish Olivia's Flight, so that is going to the editor very soon. Once it is back from her, it will also be up for sale early on my website, I think it releases in August on the retailers. I also have a surprise novella that I didn't plan but it showed up out of the ether and now it has a bunch of words. No idea when I will be releasing that one, only that it will at some point be released. Old Wolf Woman is also in progress, she is probably the creepiest book I have ever written, I love it so much. Now, on to this month's freebie! My fangs bit into my lower lip, my fingers grasping the silk scarfs. There were times that Deacon was gently and loving, and then there were times like tonight when he was all teeth and claws. Fall is right on time for me and my Daemon. Cooler weather and the smell of cooler mornings to come. Love. Last Tuesday was rough for us, though more for him. He had four seizures within about 45 minutes. And then a stay at the 24 hour emergency vet. Three thousand dollars later he came home with an additional prescription and a fancy new emergency medication. I really fucking hope I never have to use that medication. Hello! Has it been a long month for you? Or maybe just avery long year... My update is not super this month. My cat, Christmas, is missing.
