August, that much closer to 🍁Fall🍁

Hello!

How are you? Has the world been decent to you? I know it isn't for a lot of people right now. If you are one, virtual hugs if you want them.

Beyond that, you have my sympathy which isn't worth a lot, but if you have no one to talk to (or even if you do) you are welcome to hit reply and tell me about it.

I have been trying to go with the flow as best I can. July was a two seizure month for my Daemon. It sucked. His next appointment with his vet is Tuesday. They'll be taking his blood to check his levels, at which point we'll decide if his dosage will change. I just hope we can get them under control.

August has arrived and for us, it has brought cooler temps and more rain. I am happy that it is nearly time for the bugs to go back to hell where they belong. No-see-ums must have been created for the sole purpose of tormenting whatever creature they managed to find.

Now, books. I've finished Old Wolf Woman and she is available now one my website. I am slowly updating things, so if the descriptions look off,

well, that is my fault. It's a one woman show here. Today I spent the day updating my blurbs on most of the retailers. It was a long day.

I won't have more new books releasing this year, but I do have a couple of omnibus coming. The Vampire Kings series and the Sins series are both getting omnibus'ed in the next month or two. School starts for me the beginning of September, so I thought that with the massive amount of reading I should give myself a little break. I still want to put something out there and I know omnibuses can be comforting because its the whole series. No worries about missing a book or anything.

This month's shared book is: All's Fair: Love & Warlocks

Adanna Granier, reluctant Supreme Witch of the Savannah coven, is instantly suspicious of new in town warlock, Anton Burk

e. His timing is too perfect. He’s too perfect.

Yet he manages to put her at ease. Convinces her he isn’t in Savannah for nefarious reasons. He just wants to celebrate Halloween. With her.

One-night stands aren’t normally Adanna’s thing, but she’s had a rough go of it lately, and, frankly, she deserves this.

She should have known better.

Now her entire coven is in danger from someone who is willing to go to any means necessary to take over Adanna’s position.

Including destroy her.

I think that's it for this month. Take care of yourselves as best you can. Lead with love and throat punch the nazis.

Fall is right on time for me and my Daemon. Cooler weather and the smell of cooler mornings to come. Love. Last Tuesday was rough for us, though more for him. He had four seizures within about 45 minutes. And then a stay at the 24 hour emergency vet. Three thousand dollars later he came home with an additional prescription and a fancy new emergency medication. I really fucking hope I never have to use that medication. Daemon is out of the hospital and doing well so far. Fingers crossed he has...

Hello! Has it been a long month for you? Or maybe just avery long year... My update is not super this month. My cat, Christmas, is missing. My grown daughter neglected to shut the front door fully and she got out. I hope she'll come back but who knows? I keep food out for her just in case, even though the only creature I have seen eating the food is a fat possum (fucking adorable). Daemon's no seizure streak ended with 58 days. On day 59 he had two seizures. Super it was not. The count is...

My Daemon is 39 days seizure free. This is the longest he has gone without a seizure since Christmas last year. I feel a little like an OSHA incident calendar, but I am counting every day since the last seizure. I know there will be breakthrough seizures. They are unavoidable. But we can stretch out the time between as far as possible and I am grateful for each day that he has without a seizure. As you can see, he is 100% velcro puppy. On to the books. I have finished, and had edited, Coyote...
