Book five arrives

Hello!

Three sections for this email, so scroll to the parts you prefer. First is the author and her dog updates. Then the coming book release and last but not least, this month's free book.

Last month I mentioned a secret-ish thing I was working on that I would talk about when it became a little more concrete. Well, it's concrete. I've been accepted to the Pacifica Graduate Institute Psychology, Religion, and Consciousness MA/Ph.D program. I am beyond thrilled to be going after my second masters and first Ph.D. Funny story, I was accepted the day after my interview. I didn't know for a solid week after because I had it in my head that it would be an email... Oh the anxiety I caused myself by not checking the application portal. I am still dancing with joy. I love learning. Now my Daemon, his meds were upped a little. And CVS failed us. I waited to get his meds refilled because I knew the vet was upping the dosage. That was two days. And then none of the CVS were able to fill the prescription. So I went back the next day. And the next. And then I only had four pills left for him (two pills a day) and I was beginning to panic. Back at the CVS and the pharmacist tells me they just haven't been able to get these in and I am full on panicking that my Daemon is going to be seizing very soon. I called the vet and told them what was going on as I pulled into a parking space at the Walgreens. Walgreens came in to save the day. I was asking them if they could at least fill it partially. Give me some time, you know? My vet got the prescription over there and Walgreens didn't just partially fill it, they filled the entire prescription. My gratitude knows no bounds.

Book release!

I released this book through Kickstarter last year. Now it is releasing to the rest of the world. Sin on a Cursed Heart releases on my website in just a few days on my website (the 15th) and preorders are available there now. It releases on May 26th to all the retailers.

Whispers of abomination torment her, but the fate of the world rests on her shoulders.

The Ptolemies, ancient enemies of the gods, have escaped their millennia-long imprisonment, unleashing a reign of terror upon the world. With a vengeful Titan backing their bid for power, and stolen artifacts capable of destroying everything, there's no time for love or ceremony.

But as the stakes rise, so does the undeniable attraction between the Jasmine and the enigmatic Demetrius. Their forbidden passion threatens to consume her, distracting her from the perilous task at hand: stopping the Ptolemies and ending a devastating war between gods and titans.

Haunted by whispers of her being an "abomination," Jasmine must confront not only her enemies but also the lingering judgment of her being witch, vampire, and shifter combined. With the fate of the world hanging by a thread, she must find the strength to overcome her doubts, reclaim the stolen artifacts, and return the Ptolemies to their eternal prison. Can an "abomination" rise above her past and become the queen her people desperately need.

Fall is right on time for me and my Daemon. Cooler weather and the smell of cooler mornings to come. Love. Last Tuesday was rough for us, though more for him. He had four seizures within about 45 minutes. And then a stay at the 24 hour emergency vet. Three thousand dollars later he came home with an additional prescription and a fancy new emergency medication. I really fucking hope I never have to use that medication. Daemon is out of the hospital and doing well so far. Fingers crossed he has...

Hello! How are you? Has the world been decent to you? I know it isn't for a lot of people right now. If you are one, virtual hugs if you want them. Beyond that, you have my sympathy which isn't worth a lot, but if you have no one to talk to (or even if you do) you are welcome to hit reply and tell me about it. I have been trying to go with the flow as best I can. July was a two seizure month for my Daemon. It sucked. His next appointment with his vet is Tuesday. They'll be taking his blood to...

Hello! Has it been a long month for you? Or maybe just avery long year... My update is not super this month. My cat, Christmas, is missing. My grown daughter neglected to shut the front door fully and she got out. I hope she'll come back but who knows? I keep food out for her just in case, even though the only creature I have seen eating the food is a fat possum (fucking adorable). Daemon's no seizure streak ended with 58 days. On day 59 he had two seizures. Super it was not. The count is...
