Hello! Has it been a long month for you? Or maybe just avery long year... My update is not super this month. My cat, Christmas, is missing. My grown daughter neglected to shut the front door fully and she got out. I hope she'll come back but who knows? I keep food out for her just in case, even though the only creature I have seen eating the food is a fat possum (fucking adorable). In a few short days I'll be off to the Write Women Book Fest. It is going to be a great time and if you are in the Maryland area, maybe come see us? Tickets are still available at the link. This will be the first time I have been to one of these, I think it will be fun. Book updates. I finished Olivia's Flight, I love where that series is going. Olivia's Family is going to be amazing. Currently, I am writing Old Wolf Woman and plotting A Dream of Stone. I also have another short story that I just haven't been able to work on since the week Christmas got out and Daemon had two seizures (yes, it was all in one super shitty week), but I hope to get back to it soon. In the mean time... have you read my free book Sin on a Dark Knight? It's just one little bite into a world beyond her wildest dreams. Trapped in a loveless marriage, Jasmine yearns for escape. Before she can find freedom, her husband is brutally murdered. Suddenly, she's free, but her jubilation is short-lived. A coven of bloodthirsty vampires targets her, and Jasmine finds herself on the run. Desperate and alone, she stumbles upon a man of breathtaking beauty, a creature of the night who claims to be no better than the monsters hunting her. Yet, he saves her life, pulling her into a hidden world of magic and forbidden desires. Jasmine has never played by the rules, and now she's drawn into a dangerous game of seduction and survival. What was once unthinkable seems like the only way to survive. But as she delves deeper into this seductive underworld, can she trust this enigmatic stranger, or will she become the next victim in a deadly game? This month's book share:
An art student on her way home from the holidays. A vampire mobster on the run from his brothers' goons. And a train ride they will never forget . . . Here's hoping you and your pets are doing as well as possible. I would love to see your pets. Hit reply and send me a picture, tell me about your pet, I love hearing about other people's pets. In fact, right now I spend way too much time watching Rocky Kanaka's Youtube channel so I can see all the dogs getting the homes they need. If you want me to share your pet picture, let me know. I am all for sharing happy pet pics. Rhiannon |

Fall is right on time for me and my Daemon. Cooler weather and the smell of cooler mornings to come. Love. Last Tuesday was rough for us, though more for him. He had four seizures within about 45 minutes. And then a stay at the 24 hour emergency vet. Three thousand dollars later he came home with an additional prescription and a fancy new emergency medication. I really fucking hope I never have to use that medication. Daemon is out of the hospital and doing well so far. Fingers crossed he has...
Hello! How are you? Has the world been decent to you? I know it isn't for a lot of people right now. If you are one, virtual hugs if you want them. Beyond that, you have my sympathy which isn't worth a lot, but if you have no one to talk to (or even if you do) you are welcome to hit reply and tell me about it. I have been trying to go with the flow as best I can. July was a two seizure month for my Daemon. It sucked. His next appointment with his vet is Tuesday. They'll be taking his blood to...
My Daemon is 39 days seizure free. This is the longest he has gone without a seizure since Christmas last year. I feel a little like an OSHA incident calendar, but I am counting every day since the last seizure. I know there will be breakthrough seizures. They are unavoidable. But we can stretch out the time between as far as possible and I am grateful for each day that he has without a seizure. As you can see, he is 100% velcro puppy. On to the books. I have finished, and had edited, Coyote...
