Fall is right on time for me and my Daemon. Cooler weather and the smell of cooler mornings to come. Love. Last Tuesday was rough for us, though more for him. He had four seizures within about 45 minutes. And then a stay at the 24 hour emergency vet. Three thousand dollars later he came home with an additional prescription and a fancy new emergency medication. I really fucking hope I never have to use that medication. Daemon is out of the hospital and doing well so far. Fingers crossed he has less seizures. In the meantime, I have a large vet bill to get paid. And that is why I am giving you all 35% off of whatever you buy from my website with code VETBILL. I am busy plotting all the books I plan to write next year, working my way through a massive pile of required reading, and packing Kickstarter orders for another author, and most important of all: cuddling the dogs. My brain is still a little broken from last Tuesday so the email this month is going to be light. I would love to hear your pet stories, hit reply and tell me about them.
One last share, a free book from author Susan Griscom:Welcome to Dark Moon Falls ... where everything is not as it seems. It has secrets, shifters, romance, villains and so much more. When Cooper Bennett returns home to Dark Moon Falls for his grandfather’s sudden and unexpected funeral, he not only has to face the pack he was banned from eight years ago but also the love he’d left behind. Happy Fall! Rhiannon |

Hello! How are you? Has the world been decent to you? I know it isn't for a lot of people right now. If you are one, virtual hugs if you want them. Beyond that, you have my sympathy which isn't worth a lot, but if you have no one to talk to (or even if you do) you are welcome to hit reply and tell me about it. I have been trying to go with the flow as best I can. July was a two seizure month for my Daemon. It sucked. His next appointment with his vet is Tuesday. They'll be taking his blood to...
Hello! Has it been a long month for you? Or maybe just avery long year... My update is not super this month. My cat, Christmas, is missing. My grown daughter neglected to shut the front door fully and she got out. I hope she'll come back but who knows? I keep food out for her just in case, even though the only creature I have seen eating the food is a fat possum (fucking adorable). Daemon's no seizure streak ended with 58 days. On day 59 he had two seizures. Super it was not. The count is...
My Daemon is 39 days seizure free. This is the longest he has gone without a seizure since Christmas last year. I feel a little like an OSHA incident calendar, but I am counting every day since the last seizure. I know there will be breakthrough seizures. They are unavoidable. But we can stretch out the time between as far as possible and I am grateful for each day that he has without a seizure. As you can see, he is 100% velcro puppy. On to the books. I have finished, and had edited, Coyote...
